Rebecca Owings

Mrs. Owings holds a 5th degree black belt in Taekwondo and a 1st degree black belt in Kobudo. She began studying martial arts in 2010 under the guidance of Grandmasters Diane [Reeve] Kirby and Tim Kirby. She and her daughter began their journey together and have remained side-by-side in their rank progression. Becoming an instructor seemed like a natural progression for her as she enjoys sharing her love of sports with others. When she is not on the mat, she can be found on the volleyball courts or soccer fields, coaching teams there.
